Wood milling/planing Edmonton

Does anyone know of a place around Edmonton that does wood planing? I need to take a piece of rough cut 4"x8" down to 3"x7" for my deck railing top, roughly 22' long.

Few years a go I had Glenora Lumber mill some cedar planks for me. Not sure if they still offer their shop services as it has been some time since I last used them, but worth a call to find out.

This could be accomplished fairly easily using a Track Saw. A lot of carpenters have them. I love mine, but I'm not a carpenter.

If I wasn't 6 hours from Edmonton I would give you a hand.

PA has a chainsaw mill for about 100 bucks

I would suggest grove lumber in spruce grove
