Just my own opinion but WTF is Miley Cyrus is getting involved in the BC wolf cull. Maybe she should stay doing what she is good at...oops that's right she isn't good at anything. Does she even have any concept of what is going on in the back country??????

I was watching a beauty 140 class whitey on the critter cam for months and the evening before opening day found it dead 100 feet from the camera. on the critter cam was lots of predators, saw a massive cougar, wolfs, grizzly and a over sized black bear. Didn't see a deer in the area since then!!! go figure

Miley Cyrus and Pamela Anderson, both world renowned experts on wolves, were criticizing the wolf cull but Christy Clark has been tearing them both a new a**hole. Whether one agrees with the wolf cull or not one has to admire Christy Clark for sticking up for her province when criticized by those with no credibility to do so. Our current premier is certainly no defender of Alberta or our major industry. She is more concerned with what Ontario, Quebec and Donald Sutherland think about Alberta and her actions and policies are reflecting this desire to please her socialist buddies over the people that live and work in Alberta. Never used to envy BC and Saskatchewan but with Christy Clark and Brad Wall running things in those provinces it appears we may have made a mistake when we elected our "leader".

Guys try having a family member that actually owns a hybrid 90% wolf along with two others with less a percentage. You want to hear unsubtantiated bs that pukes out of their gob it isn't even fathomable(is that spelt right?).

At the end of the day we rid the areas or attempted to and created the situation where at one point in time some areas where in trouble of losing the timber wolf. In our efforts to correct our mistakes we set out to repopulate and help the wolf regain it's natural territory and succeeded in spades. Human's influence has upset the natural order of things again. The cull is it right or is it wrong really depends on the area I suppose and I do my part predator hunting. My point is this, will attempt number three to correct the past have any different results??

Just shoot straight folks with enough fire power to mitigate suffering if you do hunt them and PROCESS THE FURS, they are worth some money. Not hard to see I have a soft spot for dogs including songdogs, I just see things in a realistic light.

As for Miley and Pamela, their comments and actions only shows how profound the world is with it's ignorance.

why does the govt keep announcing a cull, just charter choppers, send CO's out and do it.....people can't bitch about what they don't know about.....and we too are overrun with wolves
They have been doing that pretty steady the past 2 years, not sure why its a big deal now.

Now if only they would admit they made a mistake about the snowmobiliers being the problem and it was the wolves and "cougars". At least the snowmobiliers kept the wolves at bay in caribou sensitive areas, once that stopped the wolves moved right in.

Tough situation, nature vs $. Ranchers are losing cattle to wolves is not good but out right killing wolves for what they are programmed to do is not good either.
If a business has theft issues in a city they hire security to monitor, maybe the ranchers could monitor their stock a little better. Have hired hands out on the range like the old days.
If the wolves are a danger to people in a residential setting then i see the need for humans to interveen.

The rancher I speak of checks all his cattle everyday, we were discussing that very subject and he is doing everything he can to minimize the wolves chances. With the value of cattle today do you not think the ranchers would be trying to protect their herds. The wolves are coming right into farmyards and taking stock and pets, this is because there is more of them than mother nature can feed. For some reason our bleeding heart journalists are not taking any interest in reporting this, hmmmm I wonder why. It is very rare for wolves to attack humans, but they will wipe out everything else given the chance and that is a fact.

you are so right. They will kill everything they can and when they do the victims are ripped to pieces and don't die instantly.
