Our shop is closing in RD as well.

I took blade off wife's quad and stowed it. Never bothered to take the thick rope off the winch and put on the longer regular winch rope....I doubt the quad will get any out west duties this year. It'll be used to drag a rake around the yard maybe by Saturday, then it'll sit until the blade goes back on in Nov. Boo.
We haven't officially been told they are shutting us down but they announced major restructuring will happen by June.

Mounted my custom built Honda eu3000is generator mount on the trailer.
The generator is mounted on springs so no vibration in the trailer. Hidden fasteners to stop theft. Insert 2 bolts for travel. Very slick set up.

Exact same machined piece is mounted to the bottom of the generator. The generator rubber feet sit in the holes for transport, and secured with the two bolts that compress the springs.
SBC valve springs lol

Spent the day in my shop piecing together one of those play house swings set for my daughter.
Picked it up when RONA was shutting the doors

So far the main base is built and dragged out into the yard.
And the swing beam is done.

Install that tomorrow. Then onto the roof and tunnle assembly.

Just a fyi thats how i found the exact same genny in the ditch with the bumper brackets still attached to it. It was broken at the long thin bolts mounting bracket to bumper. That genny is too much weight for that set up. Dont want you to see your genny sliding across lanes. Or in my case I will follow you and pick it up. Lol Saskatchewan Chinese pavement takes its toll.
Personally I would weld it on building a stronger support under it. Just make sure to remove poop tube before welding. Or keep it in the truck box. I know its a pain but its alot of money to lose. I found this kit pic and i built my own wheel setup. Was alot easier to move around.

Thanks Grinder I will watch it closely.

The guy that built these has had one on his trailer for seven years. This is a very solid mount.
The generator is mounted on springs when you are parked so zero vibration. Two bolts compresses the springs for travel. Pretty slick.

Brought the '58 out of storage. She got some fluids changed today. Wheel bearings will get grease tomorrow.
And maybe new points.
