the rider makes a huge differance on how the sled works.ya they are heavy but with a 180 kit there is no 800 or 1000 that will come close.

It just seems wrong to agree with LHF but I am not sure on this one. A 180 kit on a heavier sled and a 1000 will, "not come close". I will take that bet..as a owner of both M8 and M1000

I agree if you buy a 800 it should be in the 800 class, regardless of 2 or 4 stroke. a turbo and weight kit shouldn't be needed to compete with stock machine's. if you take the 800 2 strokes and put the same amount of money into them as the 4 stroke there is no comparing. 2 stroke power wins every time

So you are saying that a yamaha with 180hp will blow away any 800 or 1000? I beg to differ! I'll go against any 180hp yammy with my 1000 and am 100% not worried. But like alot of others have said alot comes down to rider. But my 1000 with an exhaust and a couple of other goodies should be about 180hp and weighs a fair bit less.
