Hi!

So Dejardinis will not provide fire/theft insurance for my Triton Enclosed trailer anymore, so looking for an insurance company that will as a stand alone unit...

Any recommendations?
Company I work for provided me a vehicle and I have sold my truck.

TIA, Mike

Is that your current insurance company with everything else you own?

Me as well, by far the cheapest option I found, and they are easy to deal with on claims

Is there a back story here….? What happened that your provider would just drop your coverage?

Insurance companies have been doing that the past few years, my enclosed was covered through intact and then all the sudden my broker says to me that I have to switch it over to someone else. I just went with no coverage and sold it shortly after anyway

Is it strictly a enclosed trailer issue?

I couldn’t tell you, I’ve always had my 5th wheel or travel trailers insured with Aviva and have only ever insured one enclosed trailer

Most home policies offer it as an adder or include it no charge. Just let them know the details of the trailer before it is stolen.

In BC most RV insurance that is attached to the home insurance do not cover rodent claims or sometimes water claims

Nope, just sold my truck... as mentioned previously they wouldn't insure with out it being "attached" to a vehicle.

What I ended up doing it "selling" my trailer to my wife and insuring it under her mid size SUV lol....
