False Safety in numbers and peer pressure. I have read that from other sources already. But there are lessons to be learned there.

So...I am wondering why I bought a 300cm probe with my Tracker 2 beacon. It sounds like if you are buried more than a few feet you are as good as dead :-(

I think we will stick to the groomed trails for a few years and away from steep hillsides...

Checking snow depth... Yeah if you are barried 3m under your chances arent good...

hills wont be any safer in a few years,, Its a very sad story but it comes with the territory tho...definatly not a hobby to take litely.:beer:
