Looking for suggestions of riden areas around fairmont and invemere, will be staying at fairmont for a week in January, looking for, trail heads, riden areas, family friendly

Forester is your best bet
There is other areas, not sure if id call them family friendly though.

Its been at least 10 years since i rode there last though.

Maybe ask Pano-dude. He'll know the deal

Thunder water is the most common.

Bugaboos is a strong second.

Beyond that there is quit a bit or riding but it’s not advertised per say. Mostly because if snowfall is low then access can be a problem with over vegetation in areas.
