so I was out last weekend and it was cold and for some reason my old honda seemed to be having trobules climbing out of some of ditches even in first gear. in the summer never had any problems in the same areas, could it be the oil in to heavy not really sure whats in it right now will be doing a change to a light weight oil for the winter.

Thought that was normal for a honda??? But seriously, how old is the fuel? That is the first place to look.

Maybe wiring issue somewhere. Wire or terminal can be corroded causing an intermittant issue.
