I have a toyota tundra with air bags, I was wondering if id be able to throw a sled deck in it and still be legal in BC ?

Are there different regs in Sask that allow you to exceed the GVW asnd payload of your vehicle?

I am with magnet on this one. I did the math. my truck weighs between 5000 and 5500lbs. marathone sled deck is what 350lb give or take, and two 500lb sleds. thats 1350lbs. now add in 600lbs for fuel and beer and we are at 1950lbs plus truck makes 7450lbs. my gvw is 7700lbs its close and i probaly wont ever do it but its still legal if you plan right. sorry dont mean to stir up s**t but i had to say it.

Not only about the GVW. You cannot exceed the payload which is weighed without the passenger. And unless you have some lightweight mod sleds plan on closer to 600 lbs each.

I know its close and i did say i was going to do it just saying. my curb weight witch is full of fuel with no passengers is 4900lb, i went with 5500lbs to be safe. decks are more suited for a long box 3/4 or 1ton. BUT and if you had to, you may just be able to get away with it. I unfortunatly will be stuck with a trailer with 2 sleds. and i Know my sleds weigh more than 500lbs. most guys on here have nice new sleds. more around the 500 mark.

I heard that if you put a 3rd sled on the hood of your truck, that it makes you legal because the weight is balanced out. Can i do this with my ford ranger?
