Rev XP Gauge Console

Wondering if anyone has the real scoop on if consoles are interchangable on my 08 XP 800R. I have the base console with Temp, trip X2, odometer and fuel. I have found one off an 08 that has the miltifunction display with altitude and lots of really cool stuff. Anyone know if it is just a plug and play unit?

Think your ecm has to be programed with the other features to make them work, you can plug it in but wont get any more features then your stock does. Also the warmer switches are different to have the different levels of heat.
