ya it looks like a disaster zone! There is such a large area that has been cleared, could have been a war zone? from what I've seen it sits treeless for so long, that there has to be run off problems. Camp sites and Atv trails are gone, wild life is easy pickings for hunters and carnivores, may be the reason wildlife sightings are fewer? i sure hope they don't pave it and put in a parking lot and a strip mall?

I'd rather see trees being used than burnt in forest fires, but does it all need to be cut today?

Tougher to find random camp spots for sure. Plus it is getting busier Outwest.

i noticed that also, less places for people to go, so they bunch up, in the few areas that are left. Maybe Nottlies plan is coming to fruition as we speak

he's never home stopped in there a few times, locked up tighter than a drum, firewood under lock and key, beer is all stale and all he ever has is beans for lunch, hard on the nostrils!

not sure were they went? used to see a few after farmers plowed, looking for worms,


so to help them out, i have been tossing out fast food bags all over select areas in stettler, on my way through! not sure if ravens or seagulls found them yet? ha, nasty birds.

on my way back from provost yesterday, saw a Bald eagle, tearing a female mallard duck apart, on the road side. took off as i got near, left me a nice duck lunch!
