In 2010 i paid $38,000 plus tax for my ram sport crew with leather and a sunroof and 4x4 in 2010. Only options missing was ram boxes and nav. there is now 4 rams at my work that replaced chevs and fords. Great trucks.

2013 Dodge Sport Crew, leather, sunroof, Nav, tow package. Pretty much a full jam truck. $41737 out the door.

same deal as me but mine is a 2010 and no nav. to purchase anything else i would feel ripped off. Been a great truck, good power, decent mileage, big cab, heat seats, steering, cooled seats! hard to beat for the price.

guy at work bought a 2013 last year for $30K all in, nothing fancy but has cruise, tilt, air, sun roof. Neighbor just bought a new 2013 Duramax 1 ton, single rear wheel, completely loaded for $84K with tax. That's insane.

I think that's at least $8000 high for the D-Max unless he did some stuff to it.

Best I could do with all the rebates last summer .
2014 was $6000 higher and not a Denali

2013 F150 FX4 with the FX appearance pkg, full load came to $59,000 last July. That's with extended warranty and prepaid maintenance.

Good info guys. Thanks for kicking in.

It's really crazy the price disparity among some of the same/similar trucks.

I may pop into Dodge and take a look. Was gassing up next to a 1500 Laramie yesterday and it looked like a decent rig no doubt. Not sure how I feel about the dial shifter, but other than it definately has a snazzy interior.

Ford has the huge backseat going for it, which is the only reason I need something else.

GM, the warranty is best in terms of KM's (160/5yr). 0% is nice too...

Depends on who will give me the most on trade for my 2010 Silverado I guess.

What's everyone paying on new half ton trucks, all in? Just looking to get an idea before I go play let's make a deal.

Thinking that it makes virtually no sense to buy a used rig and potentially get burned off warranty.

Thinking GM or Ford. Middle of the road trim, crew cab, 6.5 ft box.

you can get a new gm for I think it,s 27000 basic pakage air tilt cruse mega cab short box dodge has one for about the same, thire not top of the line but thire not 60 k ether

Picked up a 2012 Chevy Silverado LT 4x4 Crew Cab, 5.3L with 6 speed for $36,xxx back in the fall of 2012. 0% financing, but this was before they came back with their extended warranty. Still thought I made out alright. Would have been nice to get leather in there, but hey maybe trade it in for something else in a year or two.

If you are open to dodge it is worth a look. I bought a longhorn last fall. Only missing air ride and sunroof. Has the six speed trans, not the new 8 speed. It was 49,000 plus tax. Nicest interior I have seen. I traded in my one ton diesel and was going to get another one ton but long box dually. But this thing was nice enough to make me get it instead. Mileage is ****ty when towing but the ride is very nice.

How on earth do you go from wanting a 1 ton dually to buying a half ton. ???
That's just odd, lol

Funny if it wasn't in the showroom I never would have seen it and would have the dually right now.

Be cautious with the dodge 1/2 ton if you want to pull or haul anything, can't carry much more than 4 passengers and a bag of groceries.
If you want a 1/2 ton pickup to haul or tow something go with the ford, Chev, dodge, Toyota or Nissan don't even come close to the ford in the payload or towing capacities.

Most people that need he extra 1000lbs towing capacity the F150 offers over the Ram are probably going to look at a 3/4ton or bigger anyway. By no means am I a dodge fan, but those 1500's do ride pretty nice.
