I'd be worried about customer service and upholding Klims warranty to the standards that Klim set. One thing I've heard on some of these reality shows like Dragons and The Big Decision, you make your money on your exit strategy. The founders of Klim found a great exit strategy.

from what I have read lately on the forums, Klim's warranty is not what it used to be....I can't see it improving with a corporate giant taking over

i like how no one looks into anything for themselves. if you read the post before asking questions it says:

"Polaris will maintain the KLIM brand positioning and name while continuing to drive its existing apparel brands. KLIM will continue operations in Rigby with its current staff. THIS IS cHITTY NEWS. I love my klim gear and now im sure the warrenty i paid up front for will be gone now that POO took it over. I just hope they dont brand the chit out of it with polaris badgeing, that would be a major fail.

and by saying paying up front, i mean the high cost of purchase, but the peace of mind im gonna have my gear a long ass time fail or no fail.

(NYSE: PII) today announced the acquisition of Teton Outfitters, LLC, a privately owned, Rigby, Idaho-based company which designs, develops and distributes KLIM Technical Riding Gear. Calendar year 2012 sales for KLIM are anticipated to approach $30 million. KLIM is an industry leader in technical riding gear. This acquisition adds KLIM to Polaris’ growing parts, garments and accessories (PG&A) business. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
