Platinum f350 or chev ltz diesel

Drive both and see what you like. I Love my Chev. Almost 17k kms on it now. Bought in August. No issues and tows better then anything Ive owned to date. Digital steering assist is real nice too.

Sold my Denali DRW and bought a 2016 platinum. At first I wasn't sure. Now I know I bought the best truck for me. Tons of power. Huge interior. Straight through from Revy to Edmonton with sleds driving briskly and still 95 km to empty. Love mine.

Why buy 16? I was looking at the same thing and ended up buying a 2017 Lariat with the Ultimate interior package. Financing was cheaper and got a new 17. Great truck. The 17's have the large interior package compared to the 16's. First time I have owned a diesel. Can't believe the power. Good luck

I have a 16 crew long box. Its Stock and gets 1200 kms to 115ltrs empty running @115-120. With 23 foot enclosed and 3 sleds I can only quote computer for mileage at 18-19 per 100 and with 30 foot camping trailer around 15-17 per 100.
Fords seem to use way less def than the Chev. If I am pulling at all times between services I will put 4 ltrs of def in. if not pulling much or at all I wont put any except at oil changes.

Truck pulls and Handles Great. I am not brand loyal, have had them all and have been happiest with the Ford 6.7

I will be towing a 37 ft fifth wheel,13,600 empty , won't be towing it a lot , I plan on keeping the truck for awhile , will use it to tow more once semi retired.that is decent fuel economy on the ford though, thanks

Just a thought for you.. I know you said 16 that's good but very little difference between the 15 and 16 fords. In 15 they got a larger turbo and a lot of the minor issues on the previous years are dealt with. Solid trucks I love my 12

There is no way you will actually save $20k on a 16 with 20k on it, even if it's $80k new, it might actually be around $10k. IMO I would go with a few less options and buy new, too many people treat their vehicles like crap it's not worth the savings. Also unless you're paying cash, used financing rates are a lot higher (some having 0% for example), you'll save like $10k in interest alone.

16's had 20% off MRSP manufacture rebate, plus whatever from the dealer. I bought mine when it was 15%. 17's were a crap tonne more.
