check valve clearance, it should be .003" if memory serves me correct.....also when it does quit, shut the fuel petcock and crack the carb bowl drain and make sure there is fuel there, the screen in the tank often plugs up and won't flow enough fuel to keep the bowl full
You could go and buy a inline spark tester at p.a for 6 bucks why waste time on fuel if it is electrical....or vise versa. Clubplug has platinum spark plugs, make sure you start with a new plug.
Yep four of my five trikes would do this. Tank would airlock. All I did was drill a little hole under the on/off switch in the gas cap. Just had to vent the tank. Try riding with the cap off first to see it it helps before you drill it.
No response yet. How long does it take to remove your gas cap, pull your tank off and clean it, change your peacock and filter, get rid of an aftermarket carb, change your stator coil, check your primary coil for breakage, change your spark plug and check for shorts which can take time.
my trike is doing the same thing, its as thou it cuts out as it gets warm. I wish I was home to sort it out.
buddy rolled his trike 2 years ago and crushed the top of the tank pushing the cap in. it couldn't vent and would do the same thing.
let us know wot you learn ...
