need a set of headers for a 79 ford f100 , headman or hookers , ceramic or not , whats the best?????

hooker headers are better then headman but u pay the price hookers are more money and then take them to impact coatings in the city and the will ceramic coat them for u cuts the heat down just my 2 cents:d

X2 on getting them coated. Worth every penny. Just test fit them before you get it done, sometimes you have to tweak headers a bit to make them fit right.

If it is stock there is no 302 or 390 for 79 just 351M or 400 which pretty much same engine different stroke. The 460 which I don't think they put in the "fundred" or the bullitproof 300 6 Cylinder which alot of f100 got. But since you asked the question plural I will take a stab at 351/400

its a 302 , bought a set of hookers today from mopac , going to fit then problbly coat

I got a 78 f150 with a 460 i put headman headers and got them ceramic coated at some place on the west end ( cant remember the name) i think gettin them coated is well worth the money

They look wicked when they're jet coated or ceramic coated. Added the ceramic touch to a pair of Hooker Super Comps in my 69 Z. Great header and definitely worth the extra dough.

post some pic's of it , got a 79 bronco with a 460 in it but this is my kids project so a 302 will do , also got a 79 f150 short box 4x4 with a 351 but needs some work
