Hey Barry thanks for showing the pics. Some of those were from My holiday trip in August. We went up the Holmes River FSR with Barry and his Dad and had a great time. Really nice up there bring your camera and be ready to see some bears.

We should be planning a quad trip once the snow is all melted. It would be nice to see some of the areas look like with out snow.

Good report Barry. I knew I should have come up this weekend. Looks like the snow is disappearing fast. That waterfall is better with more flow over it. I will be up for a quad trip for sure. Keep the pics coming. How about the Morkill FSR? When do you want to do that road?

Re: mcbride quadding

Rode with "bbtoys" up the Dore River road today. Smooth, easy going for the most part. This is a deactivated forestry road and as you can see from the pictures it's smooth enough for kids, except for a couple of places where the mud has slid. Those will be cleaned up in the next couple of weeks. Beautiful scenery, sunny, warm day and a really nice outing. Most of the quadding roads here are very similar to what you see in the pictures and there are TONS of trails. Of course, there are lots of places you can go off the road and find more mud if that's what you like.

Up Renshaw Sunday to check trail conditions. Can't get past 23 as the deactivation ditches are full of snow, most likely 5 feet deep. No snow on the trail so riding sleds will be a bit muddy.

Up Bell and Lucille yesterday. Snow line at the 5 km mark past the parking lot at Bell and just before the cut block on Lucille. Taking sleds up on Thurs. or Fri. Only got 3 pictures, then camera quit.
Pic 1 snow line at Bell, Pic 2 and 3 were the backside of the cut block. Could not go up the trail as it had to much snow.
