About -3 this morning, some wind, some sun and some suspicious-looking clouds rolling in. You know - the ones that look like they may have SNOW in them. Will keep you posted.

Rode renshaw today, no new snow at the cabin, but we did find 6" of fresh and some untracked areas back over the saddle. More snow the further you went from the cabin. Snow is spring like and quite wet. Found some great lines through the trees and burned all our fuel. Some sunburn!!! Great day today.

It was snowing ice pellets as we came back over the saddle, but wasn't looking promising for a BIG dump.

On a positive note, the trail is holding up great from KM 5 to the cabin. Only a half dozen sleds up today. +9C in the parking lot when we were done and the gravel is a sloppy mess.

Started snowing up top sometime last night and is still snowing up there. Hopefully U-Turn will post another Renshaw sledding report today. No wind today and hovering around the zero mark. Looking pretty good for the weekend so far. Forecast says about -5 and snow this weekend.

Here you go Judy, mostly a white out today, 6 to 8" fresh at the cabin and snowing hard when we left. Only 35 sleds up top today, but they were all in the same area, mostly off the creek somewhere. Some good stucks today!!

We tried to get into Blackwater/Anthills fromKm 27 today, but we only got a little ways back and couldn't see. Snow and fog also stopped us from going over the saddle. Hopefully it snows hard all night, and blue skies on the way up the freshly groomed ttrail tomorrow morning:d

Beautiful day today!! Snowed quite heavily yesterday afternoon and into the evening. Should be about 12to18+ inches added up top. -8 this morning, sun is shining and a bit of a breeze. Perfect sledding day.

Rode Renshaw again today. We were the first ones to the cabin this morning and sorry to say it wasn't 18" up top. There was 8-10" fresh and it was fairly windblown in most places. Still fairly breezy all day. But it was bright blue skies and we had our fuel gone early.

We did see where some small avy's had let go with the new wind blown snow. Nothing more tha size 1, but still shows the snow and wind loading.

Grooming really held up with the colder temps, it was smooth to the top and back down.:d:d

Roads are terrible, ice covered and very slippery all the way. White trailer is now all brown and covered in ice. One semi on its roof in the eastbound lane by Edson. Took an extra hour to get home. Drive carefully.

Got back here on Friday and had to go out to rescue a sled in the back of the Dore with Rod. A ton of good snow back there but some of the av's have not come down on the trail in. A couple of pic's from the top of the base of the glacier.

NO, but that is his new gear from the Be Extreme contest, very nice stuff. Snow was amazing, still a bit leary about the glacier riding so did not verture to far onto it. The rest of the country had a ton of riding left to do but no fuel and no daylight left.

Back from 3 days riding, saturday was cut short, first up and over the staircase in renshaw outback to the falls when we had a xp in our group lose spark after being shut off, ended up being towed out the chalco. Sunday and Monday never seen a soul where we went, but damn cold, -23 and sun and wind on sunday and -35 and sunny and very windy on monday up top. Hard to say exactly how much fresh snow was there as it was about 12-18" deep in most places ,but windloaded and huge drifts in the meadows and on the slopes. We caused 2 slides on small slopes with 3-4' slab breaks at the top and just about every slope we came down had slabs breaking off around you of various depths. Be very cautious out on the hills the next little while folks, the hills are windloaded big time. A few pics.
