Was welding today and the gun and hose was acting all jumpy. Then poof, no power to the rollers to feed the wire out. The motor for the welder still humms but no power to the gun. What's the issue?

Take the trigger apart and touch the wires together to see if welds. If so it’s just a trigger

It was exactly that.I did this last night and it worked. Found out it was the spring in the trigger was weak and the ring wasn't making contact with both leads when the trigger was squeezed. Thank you for the reply Neil.
