The sad part is that they'll still make the Oilers and Flames look like AHL clubs.
No Kesler and Raymond (aka "flopper" right Bruins fans?) to start the year and these Canucks are still an elite team that will contend for several more years.

I would say the sad part is you have NO cups the other two do !! How are the riot arrests going....................

as oiler fans we know we are not cup contenders, and do not claim we are, unlike the can choke fans who stil think they are aftyer they proved they are not. same situation as the oilers and the canes a few years ago neither team was a true cup contender but by gods grace they both made it there. the following year showed that.
canucks will get a first rounder next year and it wont be from a trade deal.

The canucks will be a cup contender this year and they were last year! Anyone who says they aweren't last year is on glue. You dont make it to game 7 of the stanley cup finals without being a contender. The talk of the two AB teams having won cups how many years ago was that? And is there even a single player from those teams still playing for that team?

You can't deny Vancouver still has the talent this year. They will probably make the play-offs again however the city will be a police state.
