The peaks have been white out my front window for a couple of weeks now. I think the snow at higher altitudes is all base now.

It's not even November yet people.......this is all going to melt in a week. I'm glad I'm not within arm's reach of any of you:d

Yes, even at 8000' the snow isn't deep enough to ride. At 5000' that familiar sound of rocks hitting the skis was scary the other day. BC Sno-Ghost has a point (and some places in the Okanagan look nice but ouch at this time of year)....be patient and the systems move in. I like the way they have been coming over the last couple of weeks; maybe a good year in the back-country!
