looking to order a bunch. cant really justify spending 3000$ on the 500+ series for our group and the 120 seems like it would be fine
?

just want to have 500m+- radio range and need to have the user tracking thing so you can see where your riding buddies are at?

anyone have one how does it work? i already have a really goood handheld gps so i dont really see a reason to have 5?

Your talking the Rhino 120 buddy finder?
I've got two of them. Work great. I have garmins canadain map program as well, so I'm able to get topography view. Get about 3mile range on the walky talky, that's with no hills in the way. Batteries don't last long in the cold using the walky talky or the buddy find feature.

I've been using the 120 for years sledding and quadding. Works great. I leave it mounted on the quad when I wash it...good and waterproof.

I've got a 120, only thing I don't like about it is if you want to load maps it's done via CD/Laptop. Higher end models use a SD card.

the 120 garmins are mostly a used unit now, unless ya get lucky in ebay and the price they are asking you may as well just by a new 650 rino.

but used are in the $100 to $150 range as far as i've seen. for that money they are a good buy.
