Just took these this morning at River Boat Park in Whitecourt. I would say by tonight it's going to be under water. I estimate the water levels to be 10-12 feet high.

Backyard flooded constantly, bright side less grass to cut, and the chickens are growing webbed feet and laying duck eggs. And no worries of a fire getting out of control from the fire pit.

At least you were prepared with a dock and walking,.. I see others having to swim to their fire pit :)

Funny thing,.. I have never seen a fire pit in a dock like that before.

I didn't see it. But I heard recently in edmonton, along the north saskatchewan river. A floating dock with a shed on it, holding 6 dragon boats broke free from its anchors and went on its own adventure. I imagine someone else who might be watching the news could catch more details.

I don't know Mitch, Christmas Creek might be getting a cleansing. I tried to go up the Eagle from where it flows into the Athabasca with my sport jet about 4 years ago when it was flooding. The mouth was log jammed and I found an alternate little stream to get into the main river. Didn't get far up the river, man it was a log jammed mess. I bet it's a real mess right now because this flood is more intense.

Could be. Went up Christmas Creek a few years ago with Mike Y and Carey C
just after Carey replaced his sunken sport jet. That was a wild ride

Driving into St.Albert today on the new bridge when heading north, you look down onto the future Anthony Hendy. It is all under water, there is a caterpillar excavator was 3/4 buried in the water, the cab was the only thing sticking out of the water. It was unsafe to stop just to get a picture though. So if the water hasn't let down its a good photo. There were several manhole covers Ive seen let go with water shooting up about 4-6' high. Glad im not in flood restoration any more.
