I just bought my 09 rmk last fall and it has always ran good. Last weekend going up the trail my check engine light came on, I look under the hood and the egt sensor was not screwed into exhaust(I'm assuming its been out since I bought the sled). I screw in the sensor and continued to ride. The check engine light was still on but now my sled was bogging out around 3000rpm. I unplugged the sensor again and my sled seemed to be fine the rest of the day but still had the check engine light is still on.
I've been looking around and it seems no one is having similar issues. I don't know if I should replace the egt. But I'm worried it won't be so easy to fix my problem.
