clutch swap

Will the primary from a 2008 M8 work on a 2011 M8. The new primary won't be in for my 2011 so I was gonna borrow my brothers clutch for the weekend rather than the entire sled. Both sleds are set up almost identical minus the fact that I have the H.O. Motor. Thanks in advance for the info!!

I've got a 2010 crossfire primary on my 07 m8 as far as I know as long as the mt (mechanical taper I think) is the same on the internal bore of the clutch as the external of the crankshaft it will fit or at least thats what I've been told and it's worked on mine.Reason I've got that clutch on is cause I couldn't find one for my machine and a good parts guy helped me out.I phoned every cat dealer in northern alberta till I called c c cycle in westlock they were exellent.
