If installing i would suggest mounting the tank and fuel pump outside. These pumps are loud if you sleep in the trailer. I went with a Jerry can tapped with a fitting for the feed line to the pump. Never have to fill it all weekend.

Hi there new to the site but have been watching this one and figured i would join and show how I did my set up up. Fold up bench with inverter bolted underneath. Radiant heat for when it's real cold and it makes a big difference. Went with 2 6 volts and a 60 amp charge converter. Canadian tire wall cabinets. Can get them cheap when they come on sale

I'm gonna say if something went boom it had to have been a recall poo going boom or a DIY propane furnace. I'm going on 2 years with my diesel heater and hasn't skipped a beat

Could have been a bad installation of a heater. Exhaust in direct contact with wood, or a wiring fault with something.

Or, more probably a poolaris. 🤣

For me we spend enough on this hobby. Cost of fuel hotel food and wobbly drinks after the day. Put all precautions into a heating system a person can and if it fails at least you know covered your behind.

Our rear door freezes shut and when I finally get it open it usually rips off some of the rubber weather stripping. You guys ever spray it with WD40 or somethin else ?
