Blue River Powder Packer Snowmobile Club is Manageing the Groundhog...aka...Finn Creek Area For More info. Please Contact the Powder Packer President @ 250-673-8221( He is the New Management of the Blue River Huskey Truck Stop here. You will find him there. Here is the web site for the closures around Blue River, and they have signs posted no snowmobiling up at Finn where you go through the Cut Block.
Blue Jewel says good to go for now, governmnet says no, what do you do?
Do they fine people for being in closed areas, do the impound your sled???
It would be nice to have more information.

There IS a Mine back there ,,,,They Haul Heavy Equipment up and down that road ...they haul Grocery's up and down, they haul Crew up and down, there is a Sign that says No Snowmobiles .....get a Radio call your miles stay Alive !i dont know if theres a haul....but there is a mine up there...but its very light traffic...im sure bill will give more info then me.
so bill, do we need radios to ride up the road from that powerstation? i heard a rumor....
i have no problem with obeying the signs once you get up there, but i don't see the point in stopping every kilometer to call my position if there is no active haul in progress. is there a hual on that road currently????? tough fo me to believe that they would be harvesting timber in 10 feet of snowthanks
I will not argue with you sooo just remember you are responsible for the info. you give out...we werre told at our snowmobile meeting last teusday... by one of the members that talk to the guy...he told him that there is only light traffic POW-WOW....if u wanted to know u shouldve came
