can I run a 93 xlt 580 on premix

Can I run my 580 safely on pre mix till I or a customer buys new pump. Got on trade and had bogg of idle to the point of stalling. Thought bad gas /carbs no such luck carbs were clean as seller told me but soaked again . Fuel smelled good (seller said was fresh) add known fresh fuel. No good. On a flier blocked oil res and ran premix. good now. CAN I RUN ON PREMIX till me or some one replaces pump. running out of winter to sell. I know first hand of polaris triple blues and heard all stories of all brand of tiples. I love them and wish they would have hung around till they got it right. Any one in Winnipeg Manitoba area have a pump for sale.

we used to premix all the early 600s after a few pistons, I still add a small amount of oil to my gas today. my last 92 Indy 500 had over 16,000 miles on it before it burnt. and always added little oil to the gas.
