not sure if people know this but gps units affect beacons you need to be min of 10 feet away for the beacon to work properly...

Where did you hear this? My GPS is on 100% of time. I also usually have 2-ways and a cell phone on.

i tried it.... and that is something they do not tell you when you buy one....

all eletronic could hamper the beacon. i know that two way radios like the garmin rino can cause some problems but i think is only with in a foot or so, i dont think its 10 feet but i could be wrong.
