Axle removal?! Help!

I'm having problems removing my front right axle on my brute force 750 2005 model. I've hear talk of some sort of pin. Where is this located? Or is this true. I'm having difficulties. I'm a do-it-yourselfer but this sorta stuff is rather new to me. Thanks guys!

pulling the axle from the diff? just yank on the axle and itll pop out. or are you talking taking the cv joint of the shaft its self?
