Anything to be gain with different springs

Hi, about 1200 Km's on my 15. Still pulling full revs and running great. Thinking I should put some new springs in the clutches this year. Anything to be gained with non stock springs. Sled is stock other than y-pipe and can. I ride 4000 - 7500'

Yes, your shift curve can be dramatically changed by using different rate springs, and most aftermarket springs are better then the stockers (don't sack out as easily), unless you fall into the exact weight range of the generic clutch calibration provided by the manufacturer. I would think that you're leaving a bit on the table if you've no clutching changes with a y-pipe, or the y-pipe is doing nothing for you...

Coming off a modded 1000, rode this one stock the first year. The y-pipe is not a turbo but diffinately feels stronger in the middle. Possibly a bit more on top but not enough to change weight. Ride with 6-7 other cats, this one is strong for sure.

If you're happy with it but just want to freshen it up, I'd throw a set of H5 springs from speedwerx in the clutches, and give them a good cleaning.

I was going to suggest the H5 Speedwerx springs as well. They hold their rate for a long time.

Ill throw a third vote on speedwerx H5 springs, way better downhill performance as well as holds rpm in long pulls much better than stock

get a 911 clutch cover from thunder products. makes the primary much stiffer and really smoothes out the engagement. allows for adjustment of shive to belt clearance adjustment to keep that in spec. run a set of MDS weights with Polaris black spring I believe I have. secondary is pretty good as is, I would just add a BMP or CPC floating secondary kit to keep things aligned and heat down. they also allow for deflection adjustment without removing the clutch and adding washers.

I'm ordering the 911 cover, and glide washers for my 18 team clutch. I didn't want to, but my 16 Team with only 600 miles shown excessive wear on spring and play in buttons.

I picked up a couple speedwerx H5 springs for my high country this fall. The primary spring is the 122/285 and the secondary is the 150/250 based on emails from Jeremy at Speedwerx. My sled has around 2700 miles so I'm sure the stock springs are due for replacement
