We were up in Keyhole in late December and the rocks were just covered. Im sure by now it would be great to ride in with all the snow Valemount has received over the last month in a half.

Is it being groomed this season? Might head up there on Saturday if we get blue skys...

Did it snow in town yesterday?

No groomed as of yet. We still hope to get at it, but it should be fine. No new snow in town to speak of.

So who rode where today and how was it?
Coming up from the Kamloops way tomorrow. And trying to decide.
Chappelle?
Allen?
Clemina?

Any updates on snow in any of those spots would be greatly appreciated

Chappell would be hit pretty hard by the winds, cold temps and riders. Back of Allan or Clemina trees would be your best bet. And don't forget that there are more areas than just the ones on your list. There are goods out there if you go looking.

Ride safe

last weekend the snow was excellent and with the cold temps imo the amount of riders would of been down so all areas should have descent snow, the wind would be the issue for the snow pack. so imo i would go with clemina or allen . ride safe and watch for avi conditions

Seen this yesterday by the Clemina parking lot.
Not sure what happened. Seemed fairly recent

We have been in a bit of a deep freeze lately, but the bonus has been beautiful bluebird skies and bearable afternoon temperatures in the alpine.

Everyone loves bluebird days on the mountain, and you should use this time to explore areas you many not be as familiar with or just venture off in a different direction than you usually head in your favourite riding zone.

Trails are smooth as silk. Snow wise, we have not had fresh snow for quite some time now, but as always, there is still some great riding out there and these bluebird skies make every day on the mountain a good day.

Don't forget to check avalanche.ca before you ride and submit your daily photos and snow info to the Mountain Information Network.

Ride safe.

Accident happened just after 4:00. Looked like it was heading north and slid across the highway and when it hit the snow bank over it went.

Road Clemina both Saturday and Sunday and played in untouched deep powder both days. Ride up and down was cool, but with an extra layer on it was fine. Once up top it was around -14. Had a great weekend

What is the grooming schedule for Clemina, Chappell and Allan. VARDA use to post when you plan to groom each area.
