12 etec headlight delete

I am thinking about doing a vented headlight delete on my 12 summit etec and was wondering from people who have done it if u can just unplug you lights or if u need to run some kind of resistor?

What are you trying to gain? Just asking

We used to do this on the older sleds and it was a huge weight loss10 lbs or so. We did an Etec an the weight loss was zero by the time you install the block off. We used the men's toys block out just unplug no resistor required. But really not worth it IMO
