Just wondering if anybody off here goes camping/fishing/quading out there at all. From what I remember (I havent been there in 5 years) the camp spot just off the old conklin road, just off the Y, overlooking steepbank lake is just jack pines and sand/dirt right? Not all grass like the camp...
By rat bagging i mean having it full throttle all the time. I cant afford to rebuild my crank and pistons. I'll jump and climb with throttle wide open when needed but not all the time, I cant afford repairs at 300$ a month wage.
I would rather just buy one that already has the extension, it would cost less and that way id be able to do the rev seat, handle bar risers, and hood mesh myself.
We have one and were thinking about insuring it to make dump runs and haul random crap. But I heard somewhere that these things arent allowed any more? what gives?
Not looking to mod mine, gonna use old blue til I graduate and get a real job then im going to sell her and upgrade to a 670 that has a riser and a long track. Im gonna stick with the 670 model because they have always pulled good with little to no matinence unless your always rat bagging it. I...
 I know dirtbikes dont have speedos, i was looking for a ballpark estimate, even on my old honda fourtrax I could still tell how far I could go on a tank of gas
I wanted to know because im thinking of getting an older dirt bike when i graduate, and when we go trail riding we usually put on about 50 - 75km. I was thinking about installing a bigger gas tank, or else installing a rack to fit a smaller jerry can.
Quick question, what is everybody who rides dirtbikes getting for gas milage? How far can you go in a day with out fueling up? What size is your tank, and what make and cc are you running.
So Ive seen a few times often enough people have removed the air box on their sled and put just air filters off the end of the carbs. Is this easy to do? What are the benefits of doing so? Does it provide better air flow in deep powder conditions? Might have to do it on the 670.
I got a great redneck creation! Was thinking about one day making a mini camper out of a small utility trailer. Would only be like 8x6' and would be like 5ft tall, jsut big enough for some clothes, a shelf, a tv, and a single bed. Then in the back I would have a little door that opens up and...
That defeats the purpose of having a trike, I like riding them there fun, and when I get spare time and I get a better quad, Im gonna convert it into a honda fatcat.
Been saving 25$ everymonth into a lock term savings account so that way when I graduate I can buy me a cheap trike like a 85 bigred 250 to boot around on until I can afford a bigger and better machine. But in the mean time lets see your old trikes!:d:beer:
