Anyone here riding a 850 w/ 163x2.6 change their 10-68s to 10-70s for riding renshaw?
For a cheap gear down option I am using the Pro quick drive gears. Takes gearing to 2:39. You should be able to run 72gram weights in McBride. I am running the 163x2.6 but using MDS weights at 71grams. Going to bump up to 73 and see what happens. I did like the gear down, definitely made a difference.
Guys, I'm not looking to do any mods just yet, I want to know if guys are running 10-70s on their sleds in the renshaw elevations.... The sled came with 10-68s and the manual says that's good for 7-9k ft. And 10-70s are for 5-7k feet.... I've only had mine up to Revy and it pulled 8150 out there with 68s. I'm looking for input from guys that have ridden in McBride/vale with a stock setup 163x2.6
