Whether it is 4 blocks, 4 miles, or 40 miles, the first ride is the first ride!!!! With 11" or nearly 30 cm in the yard it was time to plow. I had to exchange the lawn tractor for the quad and plow and to do that I had to take the G4 out of the shop. May as well go for a little rip around the block and up the hill. First ride is always sweet!

And all you 850 haters guess what? I didn't blow a belt, there were no heat issues, the bulkhead is just fine, and she pulls like a mother phucker.......
Good thing no belts blown cause that belt guard is PIA to put back on. Lol

Hahaha Bert. I haven't even opened up the panels yet! Too busy working and getting customers finished before the deep freeze. I cut the hell out of the ones on our '17's and they were a lot easier. Actually, no problem at all. 6" off the bottom made the task very easy.

How she handle the curves Teach.

I've heard a rumour about the snow but IMHO, there can't be enough. I got the itch scratched on the first ride even tho' it was only up the road to the top of a hill. In the valley bottom, there was more snow fall in the upper end (Elkford) than the Fernie end. 11" on the ground in Elkford isn't quite enough for this ol' fart. I was whining last year with 65-70 cm on the ground in the Rolling Hills as it wasn't quite ready. There were lots riding just the same.

The snow was heavy and she pulled well Dean. The curves were non-existent. A new sled always feels great, tight, and makes a guy just want to keep going. One more storm and it should be good to go in the hills.
