It might be time for the US to take abit of a backseat to the worlds problems and concentrate more on there own sandbox.
Isolationism of the pre-40s!It might be time for the US to take abit of a backseat to the worlds problems and concentrate more on there own sandbox.
The US government is facing a huge challenge trying fix their economy. If you remember back in the Bush years the Bush government was actually subsidizing many US corporations to relocate their manufacturing overseas, which is a mind boggling policy. Many taxpayers were actually indirectly were forced into subsidizing many corporations to eliminate their own jobs. At the same time the Bush government reduced the taxes paid by said corporations and their high priced executives. Is it any wonder that the US economy is in trouble? Essentially none of these relocated manufacturing jobs are coming back, hence unemployment will remain high, thus tax revenue has been seriously depleted by this high unemployment and as usual the top executives in the states have many loop holes to avoid paying taxes. To add insult to injury many of the same high priced executives who have lobbied so hard to pay almost no taxes are the first in line looking for government handouts they say they need to jumpstart the economy. The problem is so many middle class wage earners have been eliminated that they can no longer support the people who are not paying taxes (both the unemployed and the rich) but are receiving benefits. Here’s a novel idea, how about making every one pay their share of taxes? Say 18-20% across the board regardless who you are and how much you make.
But it's all Obamas fault!
Americans are confusing. Taxes, while crummy, are needed to support our first world nations. Those Teahadists have really shot themselves in the foot. If you cut taxes, you need to cut expenditure. They are not willing to give up services, and even want less government in things, but mention cutting defense and a shitstorm breaks out. These teaparty douches are going to turn america into a third world country at this pace. Infrastructure is crumbling, and there is no cash to pay for it.
What I'm getting at, is cut defense, get out of these wars, start taxing corporations and the wealthy and turn the country around.
Easy to say while sitting at my desk, way harder in practicality.
actually, the tea party wants to cut services, as in all the handouts!!!! but aren't able to with all the panty waists fearing for their jobs if they make ANY cuts to social welfare programs

To ANY handouts, except medicare, or medicade, or....
You know, cut everything out of things that they personally don't use.
but it's not the tea party unwilling to make those cuts, it's the dems, and even some left leaning repubs that refuse to make the NECASSARY cuts to save their country. they know if they do agree to those cuts, or any cuts for that matter, their jobs are gone next election cycle!
What we need are politicians with some balls. It's time to ditch the 'whos party is whos' and start working towards not turning into a second rate country. (Which, in some opinions, has already happened)
Then I say..........Cyle for president!!!! He's the man for the job.

self employed people here can get their taxes down to between 15-20% with all their right offs. so what difference if he makes $100 000 or 100 billion???????? 15% of his Bbillions is a FHAWK of a lot more than most people will pay in many years of taxes......just saying
