Anyone done this lately? I heard importing Ram truck from Canada to USA is not allowed because of some tariffs Trump put in!

So I’m curious if our head Moron trudeau screwed up our side?

think importing or exporting is fine but no warranty on them once they leave the origin country

I see truck loads of slightly used trucks on highway 3 heading towards the USA. Exporters must be making lots of money

I don't believe this true you just have to pay duty which cuts into margins to make it lucrative. This applies to vehicles manufactured out of the US. Ex mexico. If the manufacturing plant is in the US duty has been paid with NAFTA agreement is what I understand

At least 20 truckloads going south past my place every day. Who knows how many more after dark.

Would need to be a really good deal. You pay pretty much 25% more because of exchange rates. And not sure but would be duties and probably an out of province inspection.

My dad took my 2012 Dodge 3500mc to the farm in MT, he can’t get it registered down there due to being built in Mexico I think he said.
I just left it reg in my name and runs it. It don’t leave the farm much.

There’s a 2020 ram long box deal that could be super cheap. Still in process of getting price. But it’s been abandoned for over a year.

He could get it registered I'm sure just has to pay duty and do the proper import paper work etc. Just more money... grab grab

I imported a 2008 Dodge from Washington years ago . Wasn't an issue then . I would get ahold of a customs broker and or call CBS for the real answer .
