How did that ruin the economy exactly?
watch the news. It's easy to figure out..ask yourself the question why did the Republicans lose the house in 2018.....? Why did he ignore intelligence reports on covid 19 in January or did he think a China ban alone would work?

do you think it has anything to do with forcing everyone to stay home, effectively shutting down the economy? or how about all the hand outs to corporations and individual's by inflating the money supply via the fed?

does that sound like free market capitalism to you or socialism?

Ok I will give u my guesses trump immediately went into debt giving tax breaks to corporations and relieving the estate taxes of the wealthy, the result was corporations bought there own stock raising stock values but not providing good jobs for the middle class..the estate tax cut only benefited the wealthy...the lower class worked two jobs to make ends meet and had no the threat of no health care. The Democratic win in the house of 2018 was partly because of this. Ignoring the upcoming pandemic in 2020 cost at least 8 trillion. Just my thoughts...others may write a different one to get to the near depression level economy of the present day.

I think corporations should beable to do what they want. But I also think they shouldn't be getting government bailouts when times are tough.
They should be allowed to fail.

That is how upward mobility in class is possible. If you just keep the same guys propped up in power all the time that means you get to stay where ur at too....

But the problem comes when "we" are heavily invested in said business's and "we" would lose millions of votes if pension funds and retirement accounts were decimated.

Wage cap, no thanks. If you are worth 500mill you should get 500mill. If you are robbing a company you should go to jail. Imo

It would be interesting in all these pandemic statistics if they could measure economic losses
