Sadly no. :( I keep postponing my trip because of a lack of snow, but will be heading out on December 8th. This time last year I already had one trip and was heading out for a second.

Been out 4 times so far. Going for number 5 tomorrow. So far have a couple hundred awesome km's. This sled is everything it's cracked up to be and so much more. Once past the break-in 2+ hours she just came alive. It really feels like an extension of your body when riding it. The only minor complaint I have is I miss having a fully opening hood (it's nice to put your googles and gloves in there when you stop! Have to use my buddies Dragon).

Thanks for posting. Keep us updated as you get more riding in. Looks like the riding conditions are pretty good. Where were those pictures taken?

I do not think you guys are gonna have to worry about the horsepower on this Pro RMK .Mine has come alive after a few rides , very good acceleration, the mid range is strong and pulls hard right into the top end .

Broke mine in yesterday. My favorite all time sled was the 04 to 07 Rev, and I feel like I just took a step back in time! In a good way lol! Power good, ride great, handles just like it should. Very happy with it overall. Very predictable ride

Hey Mikew5J
That 09 in your pictures looks like the one in my garage...( my son bought it from you). Your 2011 looks good with the new powder coat.
We're heading to McBride this Thursday, I need to pull the trigger on something by Tuesday. Looking at Pro RMK or the Assault. Cycle Works has a sno-check Assault in orange.....sweet but they want a little too much for it.
Best price around looks like Brokers in Camrose. They want more for the Pro than the Assault though ????

we did some ditch banging the other night with a new pro, from what we seen the etec did a number on them on the flat out race, about 6mph faster on top end, we have no deep snow comparsions yet, but hope too soon

i did see on dyno teck where they found the pro to be down in hp, like mid 130s on break in, hope they got that wrong

The pictures were taken at Hunter's Range. Seems like the only place in the Valley that had a good dump of snow. 2' rain packed with 3' or 4' fresh on top. Was out again on Friday, but switched back to a 2010 Dragon and let my buddy ride my Pro for the day. Made for a good comparison as the Dragon used to be mine and always ran very well with no issues.
Power wise the Pro and Dragon are almost identical out of the box with the Pro's low/midrange being much smoother. Also the midrange death bog is completely gone (I tried everything to make it happen, low elev, high elev etc... but absolutely could not make it happen) Polaris got the motor right this time and with the best clutching in the business to get it to the snow it will give any 160hp sled a good run.
Handling wise is where the Pro really shines, especially at lower speeds in tight turns. I had a real hard time getting the Dragon to do what I wanted, but riding the pro in the same conditions just seemed really intuitive. It just goes where you want it to with what seems like very little effort. Polaris really did a great job on the chassis and suspension.
The other thing I really noticed was the Pro's lack of trenching compared to the Dragon. Starting from a dead stop on an incline the Pro pops right out and goes where the Dragon digs a grave. Even from a stuck you just hop off the Pro and squash the throttle and she just pops out. The Dragon likes the sno-bungie alot more for sure.
Haven't been able to do any real climbing yet due to possibility of land mines but another couple of weeks should be able to give her a real test.
P.S. I don't work for Polaris - I just really really like this sled!! Oh yeah and it does still stick to trees!!!

Did you find that the front end under the pipe fills with snow or not. A couple of us noticed there is a good size opening right under the front end where the A arms connect to the frame that would be a huge snow catcher.

I don't think that will be an issue..... but if you want to block them off.... Polaris sells a rubber plug (part #5410582)
I put them on just incase.

Took my Pro RMK out tonight(WHOOP WHOOP!) and I'm very impressed! It's still in break in mode, but feels stronger and pulls harder than my old 09 D8. Told my buds who ride cat and doo to come out and line up, but hockey was more important than a couple 660 runs. :d

Well after the break in( which felt at about 2.3hr) my sled feels like a rocket. My 09 D8 155 did not feel like this. I noticed the RPM's were getting higher where at first the most I could get to was 8200-8250 now i see it hitting the 8300 and the odd time 8400 rpm mark. So I figured since I was running on fumes I would get some good old non-ethanol 91 and put the 160 OHM resistor in and change the plugs over to BR9EIX..... HOLY SIT! my ski's came off the ground with ease and the sled would not stop pulling. I am extremely happy with my Pro RMK and whoever said we would not be disappointed was absolutely right!
