Will I damage anything if I run my sled around here (Central Alberta) with the mountain weights in it? Want to go on a day trip and my other sled has no room for a gas rack.

you can you will just over rev at higher speeds... if you hold it wide open for too long you could blow a belt. but if your just trail riding or ditchbanging you should be good to go

even with my mountain weights in, riding in and around the edmonton area, i still only rev to 8300 WFO and yet to blow her up, get pretty well the same rpm in higher elevations..... maybe 8100

the wrong weights in a clutch will not wreck it. It will only over rev.

I do it all the time. Leave the mtn setup in there, and watch the revs. In my case it over revs 200 rpm. So I just pay attention to the tach, and besides we usually take it easy foolin around in the bush trails.
