New to ski doo. I have a 2009 xp summit 800,does it have a altitude compensator or do you have to re jet?

Will compensate. No need to rejet.

It's called dpm

If it does mess up it goes full rich and u will know it

Then usually wd40 the valve to free it up and a way u go again

I liked to pull that valve and give it a bit of wd-40 once a season.

what does this valve look like and were is it?

Right above the carbs there's a black plastic manifold thing it has dpm written in it. On the top side of it there's a crome thing with wires running into it, that's the valve. Just take it out and soak the end of it. But watch out there's a small oring on it.
