High idle

I just replaced the crankshaft and bearings in my 2001 800 rmk and when i started it up it idles at 3000 to 3500 rpm it ran fine before i had to replace the bottom end i checked the rubber boots at the carbs there good where else might there be a vacuum leak or is it timing.

What did you use to seal the 2 case halves? I used three bond 1104 with good results. Also the crank seals that come with the gasket kit i would not trust, My mag side seal did not last long and i had to change it out with a polaris one. Stator timing marks lined up perfectly? Other than that it's carb boots and carb settings. I assume you already have the idle screw as low as it will go.
