fuel filter on 08 sportsman 800 efi

I have looked and can not find the fuel filter on a 08 sportsman 800 efi ho anybody able to tell me where it is located

some of the new models put them in the tank on the razor the filter is one unit and has to be replaced no changing filter me think it could be costly when the time comes

its up underneith the front box. its a big round silver looking thing. its in a black holder. you really have to get down to be able to see it. kinda a pain to get to.

I looked where the mechanic told me to and then some and could not find it so I bet him $10 if he could show me I won 10 bucks apperently mine does not have one

hmm your right. that model does not have one. must be built into the tank.

Most models of EFI engine, doesn't matter what manufacturer will only run a type of teflon screen on the inlet of the fuel pump inside the tank. That is why it is so important to run clean fuel or you can really fubar injectors.

it must be just the twins, because the 500 efi uses a big in line fuel filter from 2006 to current.
