Can you put a X Gauge on an Everest

Can you just put a X gauge on a Everest? how do you make the hand and thumb work like a X? what about the guage selection switch on the bars? is it the same as the one on the guage or is ther more options with the switch on the bar? Just seeing what kind of a hastle it would be to change over. thanks guys.

No, it would work but you wont have all the features of the xp like the segmented warmers etc, unless you get the switches and beleive the comp would have to be reflashed. Better yet get a two window digitron and you'll have egt (x2), rpm and water temp, all the feature you need to monitor except gas guage. I dont even look at my factory guage now, only the digi!
