what clutching should a guy run with an assault 800 turbo?
any ideas????

What kit ? What boost? What track??????????? Come on you know the drill more info for proper setup

yes, sorry i should know better, silber turbo, 4.5 pounds boost (so far) 146 trk 2200 ft above sea level. already put 76 gr weights in primary and pulling 8100 rpm, primary kicking in at 3800 rpm, running c12 race gas first tank. more than likely going to mix 50/50, that's it so far.

beware race gas is killed by pump gas! if u mix 90 octane with 110 octane you dont get 100 octane, you get about 96 octane

Av gas works great i run mine at 12 psi in the hills $1.40 pr liter 100 motor octane .

I run a silber turbo on my 2008 163" dragon

74 weights in minesota 5-6psi 8350 rpm

68 at 7-10k in montana. 7-8psi 8400rpm 72mph

I run put 6 gallons of Av100ll in each tank of pump gas for piece of mind.

Justin Silber set mine up himself both here in grand rapids and out in west yellowstone, MT.

How is the silber turbo set up, ive got a 08 d700 and am shopping around. Ive taked to all the turbo dealers and its between Silber and the areo from hm? I understand the difference, the thing I dont understand is the crazey price difference. Silber is by far the cheapest like over $2000 difference. Both guys sound very knowlagable but for $2500 I can buy alot of ch!t. So a little insite on performance and set up and quality would be great.

I'm not going to say either kit is better, but i will say that most of the price difference is in the Aerocharger turbo and the water-to-air intercooler set up which includes a water pump, heat exchanger, plumbing, ect. We will have a non-intercooled version for the 2011 that will knock the price down a bit.
