Are you running the correct oil?

My dealer told me to make sure I use engine oil that is rated with "JASO MA". Without it you will have major issues (aka expensive issues) with the clucth.

FYI Amsoil 0w40 has this rating.

I`ve always run Castrol synthetic 5w50 in all my quads. I have never had an ounce of problems and starts great in the winter when I have to push snow... The local popo dealer told me that was just fine and costs me less than half to do an oil change...

if you have wet clutches you must run a 4 stroke motorcycle or ATV oil...period. if not you will be paying down the road....or diesel oil is fine too.
