Well today my friends wanted another free "tour" guide and I wasn't fully convinced they appreciated the chit I showed them yesterday,, so today went to boulder. Didn't want to ride hard pack all day so I took them to the goods... Idiots got lost in the trees all day and I spent 3hours looking for them,,, pretty PO'ed. Not a fun day on the hill....

2013. They work good in the trees.
Oh buddy I hear ya about the "free" tour guide thing ...
they just don't get it that I'm not just responsible for them but liable for their safe return. they are usually hung over and everything else is a priority except the wrath of mother nature ... digging and pulling on sleds gets old very quik.
sorry to anyone I've blown off, but I ride for me. sure we luv showing people around, but baby sitting adults that dont learn or listen is worth more than a few beers ...

Holy cow I love Boulder on Wednesdays,, especially when it snows 2feet the night before!!!
Went up with buddy Jeremy today for a bit, he got tired and went down and I ripped it up for a couple more hours, Did some steep azz cabin drops by myself and brought down 2 Avy's. 1foot slabs(the fresh) North face 45+ degree slopes, similar to what we were seeing mid February.(no pics sorry of the Avy's, cause I lent my camera batteries to team Paint stick for there radio's) Play safe out there,, I do....

Thanks man,, yea its been a really good winter for me,, best one of my life probably thus far. Should go back to work here pretty soon, but the snow is still good,,, and I want to be here when the Caribou closures open up.... So I think Ill be sledding here for a few more weeks

Sunday went tree riding on Boulder solo, some more Avy activity in the trees,, 18inch deep slabs now. Later in the day ran into my friend Erik from Revy, new to tree riding but he's coming along with his skillz.

Yesterday kinda felt like chillin, so just brough a couple beerz with me to the Boulder Cabin. Made friends with a couple from FT Mac, Candace& Shawn. Candace apparently was sore from getting stuck 15 times and didn't want to ride any more, but Shawn did. He said he wasn't that great in the trees, so I took him for a boot up top and the snow was pretty good. Came back to the cabin and I ran into a couple Revy locals Von& Marty and these guys can ride. They invited me to come for a little rip down the mountain and we layed some pretty narly tracks. Wicked day, no pics though sorry.
