I was aware that Boulders conditions weren't ideal, would be better if my sled didn't run hot all day. A 2.5 inch is a better all around track for sure. I have to do a lot of driving to get to the good snow, so hoping in snows here in town soon!
snow coming end off week

Wherever you end up, careful on the steep...

That there might be the ticket. 2.5 track and overheating also Dan and Tex.
The stock Doo ones seem to be okay.
Did they give you a free replacement one for the one that broke Dan?

Catman10 used these this weekend at valemont this weekend on his turbo pro and his sled ran about 50 degrees cooler. They go at the back your ski and shovel the snow to the centre of your track. When you back up they swing around. First time he hasn't run hot on the trail with his sled.

Dan make sure your flap is down not like you have it in the photos. Ice storms are awesome but I'm not sure they will work with the 3" track unless they have anew model. I had cooling issues but running no flap so I'll be looking into the ice storms like I had last season

Was just gonna mention putting your snow flap down as well. Sled overheated last year on the way out of Chappell with the snow flap up. Pushed it back down and rode the rest of the way out at normal temps. May not helps as much with the 3" track but some help is better than none.

Yup what Niner said, could not believe the difference. First day got up to 192 degrees on the trail, second 149 degrees and I did not put my scratchers down on my track.

They make a zinc plated one now that looks nice and shiny. A little video that I did for them but didn't finish as I ran out of snow in the spring. There is another video on YouTube showing how they throw the snow into the tunnel. Seemed to work great! The only problem I had was on the deck material. If one's ski area on the deck is wide enough so that the scratchers are always on the super glides, they don't damage the deck. Yes, I could have easily taken them off and they wouldn't be a problem.

Thanks everyone! I went up Frisby yesterday afternoon and i pushed the snow flap back down, never was over heating yesterday, but the snow was a bit
softer too. I definatily need to run some different scratchers though.

Another thing I noticed about the T3 is the D3 ski's with the super deep keels,, really catch on chit alot when you're ripping through the whoops,
feels like you're going to rip the front end off the sled...lol
