The Duffy lake road ride was in rain, made it to the ferry terminal, waiting to board in about an hour. Still have about 160kms to go today after the ferry.
I’ve done Duffy Lake Road in a ragtop vette and on bikes. I’ve never drove/rode it when it’s not jungle raining. Maybe this summer I can do it in bluebird.

Yeah she's pretty much rain forest but we got lucky. It was beautiful. And good pavement too. We had such a good time that instead of heading to the island, my buddy wanted to turn back and do it again the next day

Thanks everyone for the interest, very much appreciated.
Today we are back on the road, it will be a short run of 265kms from Campbell River to Port Hardy.
Stay in touch for tomorrow, it will be an interesting part of the trip.

Looking forward to more pictures. Just the ferry over to the island is nice. Couldn't imagine all the way up there through all the islands

Figured that must be the plan when I saw your destination of Port Hardy without your boat or even a fishing rod lol!! Looks like a great adventure Mike and KB have a blast!

KB video taken between Merrit bc and Lillooet bc, somewhere. Lol.
Highway 99 was a mistake, it’s not the 99.
It’s BC 12 north.

Todays run is 465kms, Prince Rupert to Stewart.
I had to post 2 pics because the road ran off the map lol.
I know, I’m old school but love paper maps.
Though I’m also using gps and iPhone to nav.

Made it to Stewart, we made a change in our route. Decided to go via 113 Nisga’a highway instead of the traditional highway 16 to Kitwanga.
The 113 Nisga’a takes you through the lava beds from an eruption in the 1700 that killed 2,000 native residents of the times. Its sacred grounds and while visiting great respect has to be shown. It’s an incredible site to see.
